Pittman, a native of the Kansas City area, currently plays at Division 2 Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kansas, following two years in the junior college ranks. Pittman played at Kansas City Kansas Community College for two years, hitting a combined 35 extra-base hits in two seasons, with 81 RBIs. After his freshman year, in which he hit .386 with 11 doubles, 7 triples, and 36 RBIs, he was named 2nd team All-Conference.
