Bramwell is currently playing his sophomore season at Division 2 powerhouse Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colorado. Last year, he played in 14 games for a team that was a game away from the D2 World Series, and this season he has moved into the everyday lineup playing both catcher and third base. A native of San Clemente, California, he attended San Clemente High School.
