Cipriano played his junior season at Montana State Billings this past spring. He had a standout year, winning the Great Northwest Athletic Conference triple crown after hitting .405 with 18 home runs and 52 RBIs. The GNAC Player of the Year and a 1st team D2CAA All-West Region selection, Cipriano also led the conference in on-base percentage, slugging percentage, runs scored, total bases, hit by pitches, and was second in doubles. Cipriano joined the Yellowjackets after two seasons at Moorpark College, a junior college in southern California. He spent the fall of 2018 in the Division I ranks at Cal State Northridge.
