Padilla, after completing his sophomore season at Spokane Falls Community College, will transfer to Boise State this fall to join the Broncos' upstart baseball program, which will begin play in the spring of 2020. Padilla was a 2nd team All-Northwest Athletic Conference selection as a utility player after his freshman year at Spokane Falls, after he hit .278 with 8 homers and 31 RBIs. Last summer, Padilla played for the Badlands Big Sticks of the Expedition League, where he hit .264 with 10 extra-base hits in 33 games.
