McAdams did not get to play his senior season of high school in 2020 due to COVID-19 and didn’t make an appearance in 2021 with the Huskies in his freshman season, but the towering 6-foot-6 right-hander was a top high-school prospect after posting a sub-1.00 ERA in his junior year, when he earned first team All-Seattle Metro honors. He was the No. 3-ranked player in the state according to Prep Baseball Report and No. 6 according to Baseball Northwest.
