In what has now become an annual tradition, baseball fans from Yakima escape the dreariness of winter in the Valley for a burst of sunshine, cold drinks, and baseball in Arizona. We join our friends with the Seattle Mariners and enjoy the rite of passage that is Spring Training.
For the 2019 edition of the trip, the details are as follows:
- Depart Sunday, March 10, return Thursday, March 14
- Trip to include 5 days/4 nights/3 games (2 in Peoria, 1 on the road)
- Includes: round-trip airfare from Pasco-Phoenix | Ground Transportation (to and from the airport to hotels and hotels to ballparks) | Hotel accommodations | game tickets to (3) spring training games (including an all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet from a party deck in Peoria) | special behind-the-scenes look at the 2019 M’s and the facilities
- Cost: $1,495/pp (double-occupancy)
Past trips have included meeting Mariners greats, visits with the management team, and a chance to see live bullpens from All-Star pitchers inside the practice facility. In addition to the great behind-the-scenes, the company has been fantastic – it is a great way to end winter and prepare for the warmth of summer.
“We can’t wait to get down there this year,” said PBV president Zachary Fraser. “Each year we see something unique, different – and you can’t beat the weather!”
