Despite our reputation as the sunny, dry side of the state, those of us in Eastern Washington know all too well the cold and gray that greets us in January and sticks around through mid-March. While the knowledge of sun and warmth that is soon to follow is comforting, sometimes it’s nice to escape a little early to blue skies, warm flip-flop weather and the best that it brings out of all of us – baseball.
For the second consecutive year, a third time since 2014, Pacific Baseball Ventures is organizing a trip to Peoria, Ariz., to celebrate the return of baseball with our big-market brethren, the Seattle Mariners. In years past, guests on the trip have met Felix, watched batting practice from the dugout with Cano, and met Edgar. While we can’t always promise which Mariner great we’ll stumble into, we can certainly promise a great time with good friends, food and of course, sunshine. The joy of returning home with a touch of sunburn will make you the envy of all your friends.
The trip price (for double occupancy) includes:
Round-trip airfare from Pasco, Wash.
Hotel in Peoria, Ariz.
Tickets to two Mariners spring training games – one in Peoria and a second on the road (this season, we will be visiting Goodyear, home of the 2016 World Series participant Cleveland Indians)
Ground transportation from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel to the Goodyear ballpark (the Peoria hotel is mere blocks from the stadium)
special event that only PBV teams can deliver – details to be coming!
Double occupancy costs when booked before Dec. 21 is $995/pp. For full details on the trip, including pricing, download the PDF at the bottom of this article.
