About the West Coast League:

Located within the splendid beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the West Coast League is quickly developing as one of the premier collegiate summer leagues in the country. Teams are located throughout Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, and feature intimate ballparks, great crowds and baseball featuringplayers from the top programs in the country.

The West Coast League has a demanding schedule, travel and wood bats that test prospects, preparing them for the pros. Coaches and players live with host families and play in front of large crowds in a range of intimate ball parks from old minor league parks to state-of-the-art collegiate stadiums.

Our member teams recruit players nationwide and are committed to developing aspiring pros. No college summer league has ever had as many drafted student-athletes and alumni reaching the big leagues so early in its history.-wccbl.com

Alumni of the league include Jacoby Ellsbury (Boston Red Sox), Nyjer Morgan (Washington Nationals), Jeff Francis (Colorado Rockies), and Chris Davis (Baltimore).

Dennis Koho, owner of Koho & Beatty Attorneys at Law, is the league president, which has overseen unprecedented growth the past few seasons. League headquarters are in Salem, OR.
